Brad  Gill,  (Executive Director of 30-30 Ministries), has a passion for hunting and fishing. This passion, coupled with an interest in youth involvement in these outdoor sports, helped stir a desire to build an organization that would allow youth opportunities to hunt and fish. The thought of such an organization remained a simple idea for years. What finally triggered the beginning of an organization was Brad’s surrender to Jesus Christ in 2008. Several months after that, God placed a burden on Brad’s heart for teenaged youth who did not have a relationship with Jesus.

Centennial Baptist Church

Centennial Baptist Church

OUR HERITAGE, OUR HISTORY.. It all started in the spring of 1876, when a group of 23 Christian men and women decided they wanted a church in their community. Mr. Jeff Mosley donated one acre of land for a church, cemetery and schoolhouse. A brush arbor was erected and they held monthly preaching services and Sunday School every Sunday evening through the spring and summer. The Rev. E. Jewel was interim Pastor. The church building was ready by the fall. On September 16, 1876, the church was organized and on the next day, Sunday, September 17, 1876, the house was dedicated to the service of God. The church was named Centennial in honor of the Great Centennial Exposition held in Philadelphia in this year.
